Intramotev, the know-how firm constructing battery-electric railcar retrofits, has began working its TugVolt know-how at Carmeuse America’s calcium mine in Cedarville, Michigan.
This milestone, captured on video, makes it the world’s first independently pushed battery-electric railcar in income service, based on the corporate.
With help from the Michigan Mobility Funding Program, Intramotev will deploy a complete of three TugVolt battery-electric railcars on the Cedarville website.
