La Cantera Desarrollos Mineros, one in every of Mexico’s main underground contractors, has chosen Sandvik Mining to produce 64 items of underground mining tools.
The order, which was positioned within the June quarter of 2025, consists of 23 Toro® LH410 loaders, 19 Sandvik DD311 single-boom improvement jumbos, 16 Sandvik DS311 rock bolters, three Toro LH307 loaders, two Toro LH514 loaders and one Sandvik DD321 twin-boom improvement jumbo.
Tools deliveries are scheduled from 2025 by 2028. The order consists of technical assist and coaching.

The order follows years of collaboration between La Cantera Desarrollos Mineros and Sandvik. The contractor took supply of the 8,000th Sandvik DS311 rock bolter to be manufactured in a ceremony at Sandvik’s services in Mexico final yr and operates a fleet of 82 Sandvik tools models.
