I created a channel with Core Lightning with push_msats parameter to right away push a bunch of funds to the peer aspect of the channel.
lightning-cli fundchannel push_msats=30480
I did that to extend my capability to obtain funds. I used to be in a position to and I did obtain extra funds upto the channel capability. However this was a giant mistake. Why? As a result of now I’ve far more of my funds on this channel than the capability, and once I shut the channel, I solely obtain again what’s the channel capability. The funds I pushed to look aspect with push_msasts is gone perpetually??
The peer successfully ‘stole’ it 🙁
If I had as an alternative made a cost, I might have atleast obtained some merchandise/service in return for that cost. Now the pushed sats are gone perpetually.. nicely, it’s with the peer CoinGate and I do not know the best way to get that again.
I’ve closed the channel.
Can somebody assist me perceive if there’s any method I may get these sats again from the peer?
