Primero has been awarded the Tank Design, Fabrication, Testing and Supply package deal for the South32 Organic Oxalate Destruction (BOD) Mission to be constructed on the Worsley Alumina Refinery close to Collie in South-West WA.
The BOD Mission includes the implementation of a brand new oxalate destruction course of for managing sodium oxalate inside the South32 Worsley Alumina Pty Ltd (SWAPL) Refinery. The mission utilises expertise much like that used at Alcoa’s Pinjarra and Wagerup refineries and can present environmental advantages to the continuing Worsley refinery operations.
The work shall be carried out along with Primero’s sister firm RCR in Bunbury supporting native jobs within the South-West area. Primero stated it seems ahead to working with the South32 and RCR groups to ship this mission efficiently.
